Two 9" cakes
In a saucepan, combine 1/3 cup of honey, milk, water and chocolate.
Cook and stir over very low heat until well blended.
In a separate bowl, cream shortening while adding 1 cup of honey in a fine stream.
Beat in 1 egg at a time.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture alternately with chocolate mixture.
Beat after each addition until smooth.
Pour batter into two greased 9″ round layer pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
Frost with fluffy coffee frosting.
