Clean duck and dry thoroughly inside and out.
Combine 2 tsp. salt, ginger, basil and pepper.
Rub half of mixture on inside of duck.
Heat honey, butter, orange juice, lemon juice, orange peel, mustard and 1/8 tsp. salt together until butter melts.
Rub 2 to 3 tbsp. liquid mixture on inside of duck.
Rub remaining seasoning mixture on outside of duck.
Place duck on a large piece of aluminum foil.
Pour remaining honey mixture over duck.
Wrap and roast in a slow oven at 325 degrees for 1 3/4 hours.
Baste with drippings and bake another 20 to 25 minutes, or until brown.
Place duck on platter.
Combine cornstarch with a small amount of cold water; add to drippings.
Stir and heat to boiling.
Serve with duck.
Garnish with orange slices.
