Barkman Honey

Agave Pecan Pie


    One 9" Pie


  • 1 cup agave
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans, whole or pieces
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract (rum or maple may be substituted)
  • One 9″ pie crust, unbaked



Mix agave, eggs, sugar, butter and extract.

Fold in pecans. Pour mixture into pie shell.

Bake at 350 degrees on center rack of oven for 60 to 70 minutes until center is just firm.

Allow to cool and refrigerate.

If edges of pie are browning too quickly, cover edges with foil.
