Barkman Honey

Honey Frosting




  • 1 1/4 cups honey
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla



Heat honey in a saucepan over very low heat, stirring occasionally.

In a large bowl, combine egg whites, salt and vanilla; beat with an electric mixer until the egg whites are stiff but not dry.

Slowly pour honey into the stiffened egg whites, while beating at a low speed.

When all honey is combined, crank up the mixer speed to high and beat for 7 to 10 minutes, or until the mixture has stiffened back up.

Frosting can be used on cakes, to top a parfait, over brownies, filling in between cookies or anything else you can imagine.
