Honey Balsamic Glazed Chicken

INGREDIENTS

  • 7 lbs. chicken pieces, bone in
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 2/3 cup olive oil
  • 3/4 cup white balsamic vinegar
  • 6 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 3 tsp. sea salt
  • 2 tsp. coarse ground pepper
  • 2 tsp. paprika

 

DIRECTIONS

Marinade: Combine all ingredients, except for chicken, in a bowl and whisk until well combined.

Place chicken in a sealable bag or suitable container for marinating.

Pour marinade over chicken and allow to marinate in refrigerator for at least 8 hours or overnight for best results.

Remove chicken from marinade and place in a roasting pan in a single layer.

Roast at 425 degrees for 10 minutes.

Reduce heat to 375 degrees and continue roasting until the chicken’s internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.

Remove chicken from oven and allow to cool slightly.

Drizzle with additional honey to add a little more sweetness and shine.
